(Matthew 22:21, Matthew 10, Philippians 4:10-20)Jesus made two things clear; although we know that all good things belong and come from our Father in Heaven it is up to us to govern well the things that belong to us. Just like Israel had to present their offerings to the LORD so too must we. We also must pay our taxes because Jesus himself paid taxes. Jesus said, "Therefore render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's.” When Jesus sent his disciples out in Matthew 10, He made it clear that they shouldn't take any form of provisions with them, but that the generosity of strangers would meet their needs. Paul, in Philippians 4 thanked the Philippians for the gifts they sent him. It is important for us to understand that God gives, in order for us to give.
It is truly more blessed to give that to receive. However as full-time evangelical workers, our ministry has a financial element. We have needs that need to be met in order to help those around us. Just like you have expenses so do we. We ask that you would consider sending us a gift (as part of your offering) to us so that we can go the distance and work with what the LORD has given us. Pakistan's people sometimes become hostile towards the message of the Gospel. There are times where we have no place to sleep in safety. Above all we ask that you pray with us that we would be strenghtened through the Holy Spirit and not shy away from evangelising fervently and that through the Church of Christ we would have our needs met both exceedingly and abundantly. Malachi 3:6-12
